Very fine to excellent, the metal surfaces retain 94-95% of their original salt blue finish with minor wear along the sharp edges, to include the right frame rail and the side plate. The markings are well-struck and correct, the numbers are matching and the pistol is not import-marked. The grip panels are very good plus, showing only wear to the checkering. Mechanically flawless, the action is smooth, the hold-open remains functional, and the bore is graded as excellent, remaining mirror-bright with sharp rifling and no visible rust, frost, pitting or oxidation. The included case is fine with light handling marks on the exterior, fading to the green felt lining and the strip of metal that secures the barrel has come loose. The manual is poor to perhaps fair, appearing complete with untorn pages, although the spine has separated and been re-attached with an old piece of tape that has failed from age.
