I’m trying to find an older style muzzleloader for my son. He’s a member of a frontier themed group that uses muzzleloaders and he wants to get more into it.
We would like to go with percussion cap, not flintlock.

I have a pretty old 45cal Kentucky rifle and would like to stick to a similar style (not modernized with synthetic stock). He can handle my 45 which we have only fired a little bit due to its age and he’s tried some 50. Either is fine.
I’m not looking for crazy high end collectors items.
But I would like it to be in excellent working condition since it will be primarily operated by my son. No broken or Fowled parts.
Located in the Waco area and willing to meet. I have a CHL as well.
